ABOUT US

Cultivate Connection is about helping you connect with God to receive all that He has for you so you can release His kingdom here on earth.

Connection because He is our source.

Receiving because every good parent desires to pour out blessings onto their children.

Releasing because Christianity is not a passive activity. We are called to be world changers, Salt and light.

That’s it in its most basic form. Cultivate Connection is more of a verb phrase than it is a thing. We’ve written all about how it came to be in our very first blog post.

Maybe you’re here on this about page to learn more about the “who” behind Cultivate Connection. If that’s you, welcome. We’re more than happy to tell you a little about ourselves.

We’re a husband and wife duo who are passionate about seeing people tap into the fullness of everything God has created them to be.

We’re not talking about hyped up motivational training or meditation to achieve enlightenment. We’re talking about growing in relationship with our Father in Heaven. God (Yahweh), whose son is Jesus (Yeshua), who has given us the Holy Spirit (Ruach).

Behold, I’m standing at the door, knocking. If your heart is open to hear my voice and you open the door within, I will come in to you and feast with you, and you will feast with me. – Revelation 3:20 (TPT)

We see God knocking at the door of each person’s life and it is our deepest desire to help them open that door and feast with Christ.

Amy Chapoton is the voice behind the weekly meditation podcast. Just about everything she does revolves around growing closer to God. Often times her default answer to tough questions is “let’s pray about it.” A gifted photographer and creative visionary, Amy provides fuel for the right brained thinkers out there.

Lee Chapoton is the guy behind the curtains who tries his best to keep all the digital gears turning. He’s responsible for scheduling the emails, updating this website, and many other things. Lee balances things out with his left brain approach towards research, analyzing, facts and figures. Often times you’ll hear him saying “just give me the facts.”

So there you have it. Two people, husband and wife, who believe God put them together as a complement to each other and planted a seed in their marriage. A seed named Cultivate Connection.
