Hallowed Be Your Name
When we pray, we recognize God for who He is, our Heavenly Father.
In this manner, therefore, pray:
Our Father in heaven, Hallowed be Your name.
Your kingdom come.
Your will be done On earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our debts, As we forgive our debtors.
And do not lead us into temptation, But deliver us from the evil one.
For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.
- Matthew 6:9-13 TPT
After we recognize who He is, we honour and bless who He is.
For you, O Lord, are supreme over all the earth; you are exalted far above all gods.
- Psalm 97:9 NLT
Hallowed Be His Name! God is supreme over all the Earth. He is Healer (Psalm 103:2-3); He is the King of Kings (Revelation 17:14); He is Merciful and Compassionate (Psalm 145:8-9); He is our Strong Fortress (2 Samuel 22:33); He is Great (Psalm 147:4-5); He is Love (1 John 4:8).
This is the God we pray to. Blessing you this week to see God in new and exciting ways!
