Our God is living and active. He is not like other gods; carved idols which sit lifeless. This is why we proudly proclaim Him to be the one true god!
How lovely are Your dwelling places,
O Lord of hosts!
My soul longed and even yearned for the courts of the Lord;
My heart and my flesh sing for joy to the living God. - Psalm 84:1-2 NASB
But the Lord is the true God;
He is the living God and the everlasting King. - Jeremiah 10:10 NASB
