Trust

Season #1 Episode #243

Trust

Your Words for 2020

Welcome to our third meditation on your words submitted for the new year. This week's word is Trust.

This is such a good word to describe God; because He is more trustworthy than anyone else. In a world where trust can easily be broken, His trust never fails. This week, allow the Holy Spirit to show you just how trustworthy God is.

The Bible is filled with so many examples of God's trust. Here are six specific versus I read from this week. Blessing you to receive all that God has for you in this meditation. Enjoy!

You are my strength and my shield from every danger.
When I fully trust in you, help is on the way.
I jump for joy and burst forth with ecstatic, passionate praise!
I will sing songs of what you mean to me! - Psalm 28:7 (TPT)

Join me, everyone! Trust only in God every moment!
Tell him all your troubles and pour out your heart-longings to him.
Believe me when I tell you—he will help you! - Psalm 62:8 (TPT)

But in the day that I’m afraid, I lay all my fears before you
and trust in you with all my heart. - Psalm 56:3 (TPT)

So my conclusion is this:
Many are the sorrows and frustrations
of those who don’t come clean with God.
But when you trust in the Lord for forgiveness,
his wrap-around love will surround you. - Psalm 32:10 (TPT)

Lord, it is so much better to trust in you to save me than to put my confidence in someone else. - Psalm 118:8 (TPT)

Then I finally admitted to you all my sins,
refusing to hide them any longer.
I said, “My life-giving God,
I will openly acknowledge my evil actions.”
And you forgave me!
All at once the guilt of my sin washed away
and all my pain disappeared! - Psalm 32:5 (TPT)
