The Only One Who Satisfies
We human beings seem to be on a never-ending quest in search of meaning and fulfillment. Quite often the fruit of our pursuits is short-lived, leading us to look for something else to do the trick.
Why do we continue coming back to the same wells, when there is One who says His water will forever satisfy? If we keep drawing from the same old well, we will always be thirsty. If we choose to drink the water that He offers, we will never thirst again.
Weak and feeble ones you will sustain. Those bent over with burdens of shame you will lift up. You have captured our attention and the eyes of all look to you. You give what they hunger for at just the right time. When you open your generous hand, itā€™s full of blessings, satisfying the longings of every living thing. - Psalm 145:14-16 (TPT)
Let's pause for a moment, taking stock of where the God-sized void exists in our lives. Maybe it's in the realm of identity, maybe around financial provision. Wherever it may be, is He trustworthy enough to invite into the space that can only be filled by Him? The One whose generous hand satisfies the longings of every living thing!
